The city of Oklahoma is very popular for hosting innumerable art festivals for promoting and enhancing the art culture of the city. So deliberate are the measures taken by the government towards elevating the sense of art and its appreciation that the city today stands as a home to some of the most acclaimed artists in the world. The Downtown Edmond Arts Festival is one of the annually held festivals in the city of Oklahoma and this particular event has gained widespread popularity in the past few years. So much so that this last 2007 Downtown Edmond Arts Festival accounted for being the 28th edition of this fantastic event at Oklahoma City.
More than hundred artists participate in this Oklahoma City Downtown Edmond Arts Festival and put on display a wide variety of creations like paintings, sculptures, jewelry, pottery, etc.
