Harn Homestead is the home of 1889ers museum. The museum is situated on 313 NE 16th street in the city of Oklahoma. This property was constructed in the year 1904 on a 10 acres of land. The house was furnished with pre-Oklahoman statehood time. This property features a one-room schoolhouse, the Victorian home a windmill encircled with trees like cedar and stone. There is also a working farm in Harn Homestead.
In addition to its role as a curator Harn Homestead also rent out its property for many purposes which include weddings, parties, and reunions. In every December Harn Homestead organizes grand celebration of territorial Christmas.

Opening hours of Harn Homestead :
The museum is open on all days of a week except Sunday and Saturday. The opening hours of the museum is from 10 am -2pm. The museum is closed during the month of August and on all major holidays.
Admission price of Harn Homestead :
The admission ticket can be bought paying $5. Children below the age of 3 are permitted free of cost.
Activities in Harn Homestead:
Join the guided tour conducted by the museum which lasts for 30 minutes only. Groups of visitors can book the guided tours on a special basis. The individuals can also take part in touring the ground and the museum building by themselves. One can enjoy the picnic style lunch on the tables laid out in the ground. There are also fun activities for the children like fence whitewashing, tub laundry and chopping of woods.
The educational programmes of Harn Homestead:
Territorial Farm Programme: This programme is specially designed for the students studying in kindergarten to the class three level. This programme is based on the motto “waste not, want not”.
The programme runs from 10 o'clock in the morning to 1.30 in the afternoon. The programme is offered in the winter and spring of the year.
