Oklahoma City Nightlife

Oklahoma City Nightlife is something which is very vibrant and thriving. The city houses an Entertainment District along NW 39th Expressway between Pennsylvania and May Aves. The GLBIT district has over 20 hopping dance clubs and bars, hotels, movie halls, concerts, retail, and services. The district rivals Bricktown in terms of sheer volume of nightlife. Oklahoma City's GLBIT District is part of the amazing design that makes this new big city a multicultural and cosmopolitan.

Oklahoma City Nightlife options provide the visitors with the best places in Oklahoma City to unwind, kick back and leave the day behind. In Oklahoma City and its neighborhoods you can find ranges of options from quiet venues to uncovered hip bars, and you can also hit the Oklahoma City clubs.

You can find a pub or bar easily in the city. The reputed ones include:
  • Bar & Grill the Mill
  • 1974 Pub & Grill
  • Belle Isle Brew Pub
  • Bobs' Bar & Grill
  • Cheers Bar & Grill
  • Country Inn Bar & Grill
  • Hoffman Bar & Grill
  • Elgin Bar & Grill
  • Duck Club Bar & Grill
The Bricktown Brewery is housed in a century old brick building that for the past decade has been the micro-brewery. The restaurant downstairs serves food and drink (including the house beers), while upstairs you can play pool, dance to live music, relax with friends, or spend your time with the few virtual reality games. The Brewery is among one of the favorite of the Oklahoma City Nightlife.

Deep Deuce building revives the name of the district in which it sits. In the 1940s and 1950s, "Deep Deuce" was recognized as eastern limit of NE 2nd street within the city limits. However, this detail is known to very few.

Oklahoma's one of the oldest club is the Wreck Room. They don't serve alcohol, but stay open from 9 pm till the last person leaves the next morning. Although not the home of the most impressive light and sound system, the vibe of the club is what makes it fun, a place where people of all ages gather to dance to house and trance. And, of course, people come here to watch the drag shows which adds charm to the Oklahoma City Nightlife.
